Best of 2015

Best of 2015

Now that 2015 is coming to a close, it’s the time to look over the best trends of the year. This year was full of new surprises and old, innovative trends that were brought back to life. These trends blew up being worn by everybody and their mothers, and for all the best reasons. Some of my favorites this year would have to be capes, anything suede, over the knee boots, sneakers and turtlenecks (but they’ve never really gone out of style, have they?)

Winter Coat

We’re well into December and I still can’t believe it. This is the best time to bring out the coats we all love so much, so that’s just what I did. This season, coats are so popular. They always have been but somehow this season they have multiplied. Coats are one of the most chic items a person can have in their wardrobe. They are casual but classy which really is conveyed through a person’s outfit. Even better, a coat can be thrown over anything and it will automatically look chic; take the newfound sweats trend for example. ( Sweatpants, a coat, and sneakers: brilliant.) In my opinion, a structured winter coat can spice up any outfit and tie any loose pieces together creating a cozy but stylish look for the colder months.

So, I loved capturing these pictures outside of a movie studio in my neighborhood. Obsessed with my white solid walls (or in this case blue), stumbling upon this spot was perfect for my blog. These were shot after a fun filled day with not a lot of school but a lot of food (my personal favorite).

So obviously, I’m not in the full force work field just yet, but surprisingly enough, it’s my favorite kind of style. (With the pieces I like of course) I am not a pant suit type of girl at all! The way I dress now is what I plan to do in the working stages of my life. I love fun button up shirts and any kind of heeled boot is my achilles heel. (my wallet’ll tell you) Now, the bag. The bag I would say is the most important because it carries your life. I can imagine work is stressful so i’ll need everything in their to keep me sane, from food (obviously) to my planner. Don’t forget the laptop though, your bag must be big enough to fit that or else you’ll love traveling to and from work with bags upon bags on your arm. Now personally speaking, this could be a perfect work outfit for me, however everybody is different and being true to yourself is 100% the best way to go, so do you!

Birthday Fun

So today marks another year older. I’m 17, one year closer to 18. whoo! So today has been going great and I decided to snap some photos courtesy of the best mom. Then we went out for brunch where I had Nutella stuffed french toast, holy crap was it good! Overall it’s been great being 17!

The shirt I’m wearing is from H&M, the pants are from a boutique in Madrid and the shoes are my absolute new obsession from Mango!

Hey Guys! How are you all? So today I spent the day in the city yet again to catch up with my two best friends and chill and spend time with our friend for her birthday. We went to Two Hands and then explored Soho and found the perfect stairs to take pictures. It was actually really cold so we had to break out our jackets but nonetheless we had a sick time!
